In the last episode of B.A.B.E., Cheryl ‘The Bouncin’ Bombshell’ Williams took on Roxy Starr. Unfortunately, Williams was defeated but just as Roxy was about to enjoy humiliating her for her loss, an unexpected old friend jumped in to protect the Bouncin’ Bombshell!
And now, we’ll get to learn more about what led up to this moment in this classic B.A.B.E. story. If you love cheerleaders and you love boxing, this one’s for you!

- “Hello everyone and welcome back to ‘B.A.B.E. Talk’! Well, since the last B.A.B.E. episode, the foxy boxing world has been buzzing with the news of the return of a very popular boxer and the reunion of two fan favorites. So, without further ado, please welcome my next guests: ‘The Bouncin’ Bombshell’ Cheryl Williams and ‘The Rumblin’ Rocket’ Amber Skye… THE POM POM PUNCHERS!!”

- Amber Skye and Cheryl Williams jump out from behind the curtain and get the crowd on its feet with some enthusiastic cheers, before joining Liberty Lane on stage.

- “Welcome girls! And I know I’m not the only one who’s excited to see you both back together again! Amber, you’ve been missed but now you’re back. Any words for the fans?”

- Cheryl sits back as Amber replies. “Liberty, I’m so happy to be back at B.A.B.E. I want to thank you and the fans for their welcome.”

- “But most importantly, I just want everyone to know how happy I am to be back together with my old partner, Cheryl. The Pom Pom Punchers are back!”

- “The fans will remember the Pom Pom Punchers making a strong name for themselves in Season 1 of B.A.B.E. before their unfortunate break-up. Let’s revisit their story before their recent reunion.”

- The Pom Pom Punchers were known for supporting and cheering each other on during each of their matches. Whenever they entered the B.A.B.E. arena, they brought an immense amount of energy and excitement with them. And the fans ate it up!

- In the ring, Amber Skye dropped her bubbly disposition and wrecked havoc on her opponents. With the fans behind her, Amber proved to be a victorious fighter.

- And with each victory, it wasn’t just the fans cheering her on. Cheryl Williams would help lead those cheers, throwing all her support behind her friend.
-
- The Bouncin’ Bombshell also proved to be a formidable opponent despite her cheery persona. Cheryl Williams would enter the ring and pound away to victory.
-
- And Amber Skye reciprocated the support as she would help build up the cheers of the crowd with every Bombshell victory. Together, the Pom Pom Punchers were making their way to the top of the B.A.B.E. league!

- But then, things took a terrible turn. You might remember what led to the cheerleaders’ break-up. One day, the girls were in the B.A.B.E. gym, talking about their B.A.B.E. competition. Cheryl: “Amber, these girls are learning the hard way what happens when you don’t take us seriously.” Amber: “No one can stop us, Cheryl. We can take any of these girls on and there are a few I’m looking forward to facing: Teresa Torres, Vanity Vale, Pepper Synn…. I’ll take them all on!”

- At that moment, however, Vanity Vale happened to be walking by and heard the girls bragging. And her ears were ringing when she heard her name dropped.

- Vanity confronted Amber Skye. “So, you’re looking forward to facing me, huh? Pretty girl, you should watch what you wish for… it just might come true.” Amber replied, “I’m not afraid of you. Everyone knows you’re yesterday’s news, Vanity. We’re the new breed.”

- “New breed, huh? Let me tell you something, blonde bimbo. You couldn’t last 3 rounds with me. You’d give up before I could knock you out.”

- “That sounds like a challenge to me, Vale. Not only will I last, but you’ll be on your back by the time I’m done. How about we make a wager. I win and you leave B.A.B.E. so long as I’m around. If you win… if i CAN’T last 3 rounds, I’ll leave B.A.B.E. so long as you’re around. Heck, I’ll even toss you a victory cheer. That’s how sure I am that your day is done.”

- Vanity Vale heard the offer and walked away. And as she walked on, she gave her answer. “You’re on. You and me in a ‘Loser Leaves B.A.B.E.’ match. You won’t make it past those 3 rounds, I guarantee it. And I’ll look forward to you cheering me on as you leave!”

- Cheryl was not happy with the deal. “Amber, how could you do that? Put your B.A.B.E. career on the line like that against someone like Vanity Vale? I’m not saying you can’t take her, but why risk so much?”

- “Don’t worry, Cheryl. I’ve got speed, power, stamina, and drive behind me. Vanity just has her arrogance. I can do this! I just need you to be there by my side and give me your full support. We’ll show the fans that there’s no stopping the Pom Pom Punchers!” Reluctantly, the Bouncin’ Bombshell agreed. And for the next several weeks, Cheryl helped her partner train for the fight until the big day.

- And then the big night arrived. In a B.A.B.E. Main Event, Amber Skye finally got her chance to meet Vanity Vale in the ring. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to tonight’s Main Event, a ‘Loser Leaves B.A.B.E.’ match!! The terms have been set and both boxers are in agreement. If Amber Skye wins OR if she can last the duration of 3 whole rounds, Vanity Vale must leave the B.A.B.E. league. If Vanity Vale wins OR Amber can’t last the 3 rounds, Amber Skye must leave the B.A.B.E. league. So long as another fighter is a part of the league, the other can not return. Are you ready? First, fighting out of the red corner, from Chicago, IL and weighing 145 pounds…. VANITY VALE!” The majority of the crowd showered Vanity with jeers, but she still had her fans out there cheering her on.

- “And her opponent tonight, fighting out of the blue corner, from Portland, OR, weighing in at 120 pounds… ‘THE RUMBLIN’ ROCKET’ AMBER SKYE!” The crowd went wild as Amber danced around the ring, shaking her pom-poms all around. Then, the cheerleader returned to her corner to get her head into the fight.

- DING! DING! And the fight began! Both women circled around each other, testing the waters, before moving in for attack. Amber started off, throwing light punches into Vanity’s head to draw her away from defending her belly. Amber’s plan was to save all her strength for damaging Vanity’s midsection.

- But Vanity was having none of it. Before Amber could really start her plan, Vanity blasted her with a sharp right fist to the head. Vanity’s power surprised the cheerleader as Amber found her mind go fuzzy from the blow.
-
- But the Rumblin’ Rocket fought back! She got her head together and began pushing her opponent back with driving fists. Vanity remained on the defense, parrying the cheerleader’s blows.
-
- Then Vanity took the fight back, breaking through Amber’s attack and knocking into her belly. Vale pumped Amber with a few fists into her stomach, punishing the cheerleader.

- The cheerleader tried fighting back, but caught air while Vanity brutally connected with her shots.
-
- Vale unleashed her power on Amber. She hammered into the cheerleader with blistering punches. Luckily for Amber, the bell rang to end the round. DING!
-
- Amber rested on her seat as Cheryl stepped in to check on her condition. Cheryl asked, “Amber, you okay? You took some hard hits out there.” Amber replied, “I’m good, I’m good. She’s strong, but I can take her. I just need to catch my breath.” Cheryl was concerned but believed in her friend.

- Vanity, meanwhile, basked in her own performance. She knew the cheerleader was nothing and looked forward to sending her on her way.
-
- DING! At the sound of the bell, Vanity Vale plowed into Amber Skye with fierce fists that snapped her head side to side.
-
- But Amber was not giving up. The cheerleader tried taking the fight back to Vanity, but her movements could not match Vanity’s speed. Vale kept one step ahead of her opponent.
-
- While Amber slowed down, Vanity sped up. She rocket the Rocket with a loud uppercut that rattled the blonde’s teeth.
-
- Vanity kept control throughout the round and then, finally, sent a right fist into Amber’s jaw that knocked the fight out of her.
-
- And in the second round of the fight, Amber fell back onto the canvas! Vanity stood tall over her, snickering to herself, as the count began. “1… 2… “

- “3… 4… ” Amber looked out groggily as the count continued. She knew she was in the wrong position but had trouble figuring out how to get up. She lay still, gathering her energy to rise.

- “5… 6… ” Vanity just stood there, waiting for the end of the count. She had destroyed the cheerleader in two rounds and showed that she was still a powerful fighter in the B.A.B.E. league.

- “7… 8… ” Finally, Amber struggled to get up. She pushed herself up to her side, but the count was too far in. Amber had come up short… DING! But the bell rang to end the round and saved Amber Skye! The cheerleader had been granted a second chance.

- Vanity sat back confidently. She knew victory was within reach. She thought about Amber’s “new breed” comment and smirked over it. This new breed was nothing compared to her.

- Amber, meanwhile, was tended to by Cheryl. The Bouncin’ Bombshell checked on her friend’s condition and doubted if she should continue the match. “Yes!” Amber replied. “I can make it. Please, Cheryl, whatever you do, do NOT stop the match. I can make it… all I have to do is last until the end of the next round. Then, I win. I win!” Cheryl looked at her friend. She wasn’t quite sure, but respected Amber’s wish. DING! And then, the third round began.

- As soon as the bell rang, Vanity continued her demolition of Amber Skye. Amber tried to stay out of her range, but Vanity kept her close, pounding her stomach with vicious fists.

- Amber remained on her feet, however, which angered Vanity. She was done having fun… now, Vanity just wanted to knock the cheerleader out and claim the victory. With a loud, cracking right, Vanity drove Amber into a corner turnbuckle and went to work.

- Trapped in the corner, Amber Skye was bludgeoned by Vanity’s fists. The brunette worked the blonde over mercilessly trying to knock her down and out. Amber faded with every fist, teetering on the edge of defeat. Cheryl, meanwhile, looked at the suffering her friend was enduring. She couldn’t take it… Amber was being destroyed in that corner while Cheryl stood there helpless.

- With body broken, Amber fell forward onto Vanity who continued to drill her with punches. The crowd was aghast at the treatment she had received. But Amber couldn’t give in. Despite her beating, she was close to victory.

- Cheryl was conflicted. Amber just had to last until the end of the round, but her career was in danger at the fists of Vanity Vale. With a heavy heart, Cheryl made a very difficult call and threw in the towel which landed clean and flat at Amber’s feet. DING! DING! And with seconds left in the round, the match was over.

- Vanity Vale had done it! She had destroyed Amber Skye and, thanks to the Bouncin’ Bombshell, gained a victory without having to knock her opponent out. Vanity walked away from the corner, arms raised high, while Amber struggle to keep her footing.

- Amber collapsed in the corner, in painful defeat. She couldn’t believe it… she was close to lasting until the end, but instead she was crushed in defeat. Cheryl was distraught with the whole situation. In an effort to save her friend, she had facilitated her defeat.

- “Ladies and gentlemen… the winner of this match, by forfeit in the third round by Amber Skye’s corner… VANITY VALE!!” The crowd booed loudly as Vanity flexed for the fans. She had lived up to a reputation many thought was in her past. And with her win, Amber had to pay the price of defeat.

- Amber Skye was a victim of her own cocky challenge. Her punishment for defeat was that she would have to leave the B.A.B.E. league. But to add on to the humiliation, Amber had to live up to her brash stipulation… she was forced to perform a small cheer for the women who destroyed her. Fighting back tears, Amber choked out the words, “Gimme a V… gimme an A… gimme an N… gimme an I… gimme a T… gimme a Y… what’s that spell? Vanity.” Vanity studied the cheerleader with resigned approval. No matter how pathetic the cheer was, in the end, Vanity had gotten Amber Skye kicked out of B.A.B.E. And that made her happy.

- After the match, the Pom Pom Punchers had to face the reality of what happened. Amber was upset and humiliated and Cheryl was sad and sorry. She tried to explain to Amber why she threw in the towel. She didn’t want to see Amber take any more devastating punishment. But Amber was too clouded with disappointment. She knew she could have made it to the end. But now, the partnership of the Pom Pom Punchers was forced to come to an end.

- “As you all know, Cheryl Williams would remain at B.A.B.E. but her career took a downturn in the aftermath of that night. Without her partner by her side, the Bouncin’ Bombshell has had a difficult time earning victories. And as for Amber Skye, she left the arena that night and left the B.A.B.E. league.”

- “Until now! As you all saw in the last B.A.B.E. card, Amber Skye has returned to the league! It looks like the cheerleaders have overcome the drama of that night. Yes, folks, the Pom Pom Punchers are back together!”

- Cheryl and Amber looked at each other and Amber addressed their reunion. “Liberty, my time away from B.A.B.E. allowed me to ponder that night. The events went through my mind over and over again and, in time, I came to understand Cheryl’s dilemma. I now know why she threw in the towel that night. And I forgive her. With Vanity Vale no longer in the league, I’m able to make my return. I’ve missed being in the league and I’ve learned some hard lessons.”

- With glee, Liberty Lane announced their return. “Folks, give a hand for the return of the Pom Pom Punchers, the ‘Bouncin’ Bombshell’ Cheryl Williams and the ‘Rumblin’ Rocket’ Amber Skye!” The audience gave the cheerleaders a standing ovation and the two friends flexed for their fans.
