Prior to joining B.A.B.E., Cindy Suzuki had made a name for herself on the international kickboxing circuit. After having conquered that sport, she put all her energies into boxing and ended up recruited into B.A.B.E.
However, shortly after her successful debut, she faced a new challenge from Shizu Shimada. But this was no ordinary challenge.
Shizue challenged Cindy to a rare B.A.B.E. kickboxing bout!

- The excitement in the B.A.B.E. arena was deafening. This night, the fans were about to witness a rare kickboxing match with a veteran kickboxer. And as she made her way to the ring, the fans welcomed her with cheers and catcalls. “Ladies and gentlemen… tonight, we have a special match for your enjoyment: a kickboxing match! First, fighting out of the blue corner, making her way from Las Vegas, NV… please welcome ‘The Asian Sensation’ Cindy Suzuki!'” The fans were on their feet as the kickboxing powerhouse posed with a smile in the ring.

- “And fighting out of the red corner… hailing from Kyoto, Japan… please welcome Shizu Shimada!” The crowd booed Shizu but she took it all in and scowled out at the crowd. She had one thing on her mind: humiliating Suzuki in the middle of the ring.

- DING! DING! And the fight was on! Cindy and Shizu circled around each other like two stalking panthers. Shizu wasn’t impressed with her American rival’s fight record… she wanted to show she was soft and weak. And Cindy was her to prove, once again, why she was one of the world’s top kickboxers.

- As soon as an opening presented itself, Shizu moved in with a fierce leg to Cindy’s side! The force of the kick knocked the wind out of the Sensation and Shizu took advantage of her stunned opponent.

- Shizu threw her body into Cindy, fists and knees first. She battered her head with heavy fists and attacked her lower body with swift kicks.

- The Sensation brought her guard up to protect her head, but Shizu began to concentrate on attacking her legs in the hopes of weakening them as the match wore on. So far, Shizu saw the Asian Sensation and her reputation as nothing but hype. DING! And the bell rang to end the first round.

- Shizu and Cindy stood tall in their respective corners. Shizu looked out at Cindy, wondering why she had gained such a good reputation as a kickboxer. She could not compete with someone who came from a culture of competitive kickboxing. Cindy, meanwhile, returned her opponent’s gaze. She took a beating, but reserved her strength for the coming rounds.

- DING! And the second round begins! Shizu continues where she left off in the last round: in control of the fight. She pummels her opponent with lean, swift fists to the head.

- Shizu was unrelentless. She pounded into Cindy Suzuki with forceful kicks and punches. Then, she jumped into her with a solid left kick into her opponent’s belly.

- But Cindy held on and closed her body in to protect her vitals from her opponent’s lethal kicks. She bided her time…

- …and then struck back with a crushing right hook out of nowhere! Shizu Shimada felt the brunt of the blow flush on her chin and fell back to regroup.

- The Asian Sensation followed through with a gut-wrenching knee into Shimada’s belly that nearly touched her spine!

- Fortunately for Shizu, the bell rang before Cindy could continue her punishment. Both fighters rested in their corners, contemplating the next round. Cindy had withstood her opponent’s attacks and was now ready to bring the fight back. Shimada, meanwhile, felt weary, have expended much her her energy.

- Now it was the Asian Sensation who came on strong. With a series of rapid, sharp kicks to the legs and midsection, Cindy wore her opponent down further.

- The Asian Sensation was on fire! Like a tigress unleashed, she devoured her opponent and the fans in the audience witnessed why Cindy had earned her kickboxing reputation.

- Shizu tried to roll with Cindy’s kicks and punches, but her body was failing her. Too late, she was regretting her assumption that she had the fight won. A bare knee from the Asian Sensation crushed the air from her abdomen.

- With Shizu out of breath, the Asian Sensation revved up for a wide, lengthy roundhouse kick that smacked right into Shimada’s head sending her flying back.

- Shizu Shimada crashed to the mat in a twisted pile of body. The Asian Sensation strutted away as the count began. “1… 2… 3… “

- Cindy looked out at the crowd with a cute smile. It had been a long time since she last kickboxed and the thrill of it came back to her tonight. Sending her opponent to the mat pumped her with adrenaline. “4… 5…”

- “6… 7… ” Shizu remained crashed out on the canvas. She came in to the fight looking to humiliate her opponent but now she was out cold, a victim of her opponent.

- “8… 9… 10! DING! DING!” “Ladies and gentlemen… your winner… by knockout in the 3rd round… ‘THE ASIAN SENSATION’ CINDY SUZUKI!!” And it was over! Despite being out of the kickboxing game, tonight she proved she still had the skills. Tonight, she claimed another victory!
