She doesn’t really need an introduction, but nonetheless, please welcome the undefeated, undisputed, Beautiful Angels of Boxing Entertainment champion… ASHLEY POWERS!!”

- Ashley Powers raises her championship belt high in the air as the audience applauds. Liberty stands up joining the crowd in their welcome of the champ.

- “Welcome, Ashley! Wow… this belt sure brings back some good memories. And you’ve not only have you earned this belt, but you have helped raise its status during your championship reign. You’ve risen up to face many challenges and you’ve overcome every one. But you still have a lot of fighters out there hungry for a shot at your belt.”

- “First off, Liberty, thank you so much for having me on your show! And you’re right… there are a lot of fighters out there who want a piece of me. Off the top of my head, I can name off the Red Scare, Roxy Starr, Farah Fox… even new fighters like the Latin Spitfire and Tonya Lee think they’re ready for me. But I’m not too worried. I’ve seen tougher and I’ve beaten tougher.”

- “There’s no doubt about that! The fans have seen you in action and know you’re more than just a pretty face. Many of the fans out there have been with you since the beginning. Some followed your career prior to B.A.B.E. when you were racking up amateur titles and leaving defeated opponents in your wake. Most started with you when you joined B.A.B.E. and climbed through the ranks, eventually avenging your friend, the retired Lana Sinclair, and becoming B.A.B.E. champion in the process. And others have just caught on to you in this second season of B.A.B.E.”

- “The fans have been the most important part of my career. Without them, who knows where I’d be. And they’ve seen the challenges I’ve faced and they’ve been there when I’ve come out on top. And if you remember, when B.A.B.E. started, my old friend Lana Sinclair was poised to be B.A.B.E.’s top fighter. When her career came to a halt, not only were the fans were there for her, but they helped support me to take her place as the face of B.A.B.E. So I owe them all a great deal of thanks.”

- “On that note, let’s take the fans back to Season 1 to revisit the highlights of your career in our 3-part interview with Ashley Powers, B.A.B.E. Champion. In the first part of this special interview, let’s go back to your debut match. Early on, you took some time training with ex-champion Raquel Balboa before making your debut. Unfortunately, this prevented you from taking part in the Championship Tournament, but your debut did happen on that first night of the tournament. Let’s revisit that fight after these messages.”

- EDITOR’S NOTE: The following match took place on the night of the first fight of the B.A.B.E. Championship Tournament. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our next fight of the evening! First, making her B.A.B.E. debut tonight… fighting out of the blue corner… from Chicago, IL… weighing in at 140 pounds… please welcome ASHLEY POWERS!” The crowd welcomes the new B.A.B.E. fighter with loud cheers and applause. Many are already familiar with Ashley’s career and are thrilled to see her in the B.A.B.E. league.

- “And her opponent tonight… fighting out of the red corner… hailing from Oahu, HI… weighing in at 128 pounds… please welcome… ‘HURRICANE’ HANNAH HALE!” Hannah was met with a mix of boos and cheers. She had made her way through several women since the start of the league and now The Hurricane was looking to rip through her latest opponent.

- DING! And the first round began with the Hurricane raging through Ashley powers, enveloping her with heavy-handed punches. Ashley tried backing out of the way, but Hannah would not let her out of her reach. She showered her with a volley of flying fists.

- Midway through the round, Ashley began to bring the fight back to Hannah. She reached in close with tight but solid right glove to the chin. Now it was Ashley’s turn to inflict damage on her opponent and Ashley went to work all over her.

- But Hannah got back in the game with a solid fist to Ashley’s side, hurting her and putting her back on the defensive. The Hurricane walloped her opponent, driving her around the ring until the end of the round. DING!

- Hurricane Hannah relaxed on her stool, anxious to get back to the fight. She wanted to punish her opponent more before dropping her for the count. Ashley Powers licked her wounds in her corner. But she also remained eager to get back to punching. She had a better idea of what kind of opponent she was up against and knew she could take her out. DING! And the next round began.

- This time, Ashley Powers came out on the offensive, powdering Hannah with sharp jabs. She stalked the Hurricane around the ring, hoping for a chance at a knockout blow.

- But Hurricane Hannah came back and stopped Ashley with a swift fist to the belly! With Ashley caught off guard, Hannah the hammered into her with several body blows that began to drain her opponent.

- WHAM! But Ashley fires back with a wicked right hook that twists Hannah’s head to the side. With Hannah in a daze, Ashley works her over, battering her body with solid punches before the round ends. DING!

- The two fighters were equally exhausted but also equally driven. Hannah seethed with aggression, upset that she hadn’t worn her opponent down yet. Ashley sat down, resting her body, hoping she had enough reserves to finish the bout. She did not want to disappoint her B.A.B.E. fans in this first outing. DING! And then it was time for the third round.

- With her strength reserved during the rest, Ashley Powers jumped out of her corner and rushed into Hannah with a powerful uppercut that rattled the Hurricane’s teeth! Ashley felt a surge of adrenaline flow through her body and used it to her advantage.

- Ashley did not let up and prevented the Hurricane from getting her own shots in. She flipped her attack from the head to the body and back again. With speed, skill, and a rush of adrenaline, Ashley Powers showed what she was made of.

- Hannah faded out under Ashley’s power. The crowd cheered on B.A.B.E.’s newest boxer as she blasted her opponent with fist after fist. And then, a solid right hook caught the Hurricane square on the jaw and Hannah found herself hitting the mat.

- Hannah hit the floor and writhed on the mat as Ashley stood nearby claiming an early victory. And the count began! “1… 2… 3… 4… “

- “5… 6… 7… ” Hurricane Hannah could not muster the strength to rise. She rolled around on her back, trying to make sense of her surroundings. “8… 9… 10!” DING! DING! And Hannah was out! She had fallen to B.A.B.E.’s newest heroine!

- And for the first time in her B.A.B.E. career, Ashley Powers heard the words that all B.A.B.E. fighters hoped to hear. “LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… the winner of this bout… by knockout in the 3rd round… in her debut match tonight… ASHLE-E-Y-Y-Y…. PO-O-O-WE-E-E-RS!!” The crowd cheered her on and Ashley relished in the sound of that support. Ashley Powers had arrived!
