B.A.B.E. Classics – The B.A.B.E. Championship Belt – QF 3 – Vanity Vale vs. Lana Sinclair

The third match in the first B.A.B.E. championship tournament!

: Ashley Powers sat in the crowd, waiting for the start of tonight’s Main Event along with the rest of the fans. Tonight, she had a night off of boxing and just wanted to enjoy the matches. And tonight, she’d be rooting hard for her friend who was just about to enter the ring.

: “Ladies and gentlemen… welcome to tonight’s Main Event: the 3rd Quarter Final match for the B.A.B.E. Championship Belt! First, hailing from New York, NY and fighting out of the blue corner… please welcome “B.A.B.E.’s Shining Light”… LANA SINCLAIR!” Lana stepped into the ring, drinking up the cheers of the crowd. She stretched her arms out and smiled out at the fans. Then, she stepped to her corner to await the next introduction.

: “And her opponent tonight… hailing from Chicago, IL and fighting out of the red corner… please welcome former Foxy Boxing Champion VANITY VALE!” The former champ was greeted with a mix of cheers and boos. Despite her arrogant nature, Vanity still had her fans and they were out here tonight. After flaunting her physique, Vanity returned to her corner to await the opening bell.

: DING! And at the opening bell, Vanity Vale came out and showed why she earned those fans. She met Lana Sinclair with a cracking left uppercut, hurting her opponent early in the match. Vanity then took control of the match at Lana’s expense.

: Lana tried to fend off Vale’s attack, but Vanity powered through her defense. She spent time concentrating on Sinclair’s head, but soon moved down below to attack her midsection.

: Soon, though, Lana got her head back in the game. She knew she couldn’t bring the fight back to Vanity, but she just had to stay one step ahead of her attacks. She stepped back and began to retreat from Vanity’s fists. Lana spent the rest of the round, weaving and dodging Vanity’s punches. DING! And Lana made it through the opening round.

: Both fighters stood tall in their corners. Despite the drubbing she received, Lana Sinclair did not want Vanity to think she was hurting from her attack. She kept up a solid front. Vanity Vale, meanwhile, relaxed in her corner and seemed unimpressed with her opponent. Vale looked at her with disdain and waited to continue the punishment.

: DING! And both women met in the center of the ring for the 2nd round. Vanity crowded in close and pounded into Lana’s side with blistering punches.

: But Lana Sinclair absorbed the blows and then threw all her power into a wicked right fist that shot straight into Vanity’s face! Vanity Vale was stunned by the blow and fell back to re-group.

: But Lana was on her quick with more fists to the head. Then, Lana switched to a belly attack, but as Vanity reached down to block, Lana shifted again and swung hard at her opponent’s head with rights and lefts. DING! And the 2nd round ended, allowing Vanity a break from the attack.

: Both women sat on their stools this time around. Lana Sinclair’s energy was almost depleted from her attack. Although she brought the fight back to her opponent, she was tired by the end of the round. Now, she conserved her strength. Vanity Vale’s early advantage was taken away during this second round. Now, she took this time to catch her breath and heal from Lana’s attack. Then, it would be time to end her foe and move on to the next match for the B.A.B.E. belt.

: DING! At the sound of the bell, Vanity came out swinging. Lana, however, remained on the defensive and spent the early parts of the round blocking Vanity’s attack.

: Soon Vanity began to tire and Lana pounced on her. She slammed a few fists into her belly, breaking through her weakened defense. After a few continuous punches, Vanity’s breathing became labored.

: And then Lana Sinclair set the former champ up for a powerful right fist that caught Vanity just under the side of her jaw. Vanity’s head snapped to the side and her vision turned to black.

: Vanity Vale collapsed from the blow and landed on her back as the crowd rose to its feet. Lana Sinclair strutted around the ring with her fist raised high. And the count began. “1… 2… 3… 4… 5… “

: Vanity Vale remained spawned on the canvas, a victim of her own confidence. After coming out strong in the first round, Vale found her steam evaporating by the 2nd while Lana conserved her energy for the latter part of the match. “6… 7… 8… 9… 10! DING! DING!” And it was over.

: “Ladies and gentlemen… the winner of tonight’s Main Event and moving on to the B.A.B.E. Championship Semi-Finals… the ‘Shining Light’ LANA SINCLAIR!!” The crowd went crazy over Lana’s victory. They cheered her on as she stood tall in victory. But then those cheers began to die down, turning into boos.

: Approaching the ring was former Foxy Boxing champion and current semi-finalist for the new B.A.B.E. belt, Ivanna Payne. Payne strutted up to the ring slowly and deliberately before climbing up into it.

: Ivanna stared Lana down and said, “Too bad you won honey. Now, you gotta face me. And I’m not a powder-puff girl like Vanity down there. I’m gonna mangle you.” Lana looked at her and responded, “You talk too much. Just bring it in the ring.” The crowd cheered as both women stood toe-to-toe before Ivanna exited the ring.

: Lana Sinclair looked out at Ivanna. She knew her next match-up would be even tougher.
