Nigerian Foxy Boxing champion, Kamilah Kuti, goes up against Ana Aquino!

- Two noble fighters, Kamilah Kuti and Ana Aquino, stared hard into each other’s eyes. They knew that tonight would be their biggest challenge yet… 2 champions fighting for supremacy of the ring.

- As soon as the bell rang, both fighters crashed into each other with flying fists. Ana Aquino started off with a blistering attack on Kamilah’s face, showing off her power.

- But Kamilah soon wrested control from Ana and tore through her defense to attack her midsection. Kamilah pounded away as Ana struggled to back away.

- But soon, Ana swerved to the side and caught Kamilah flush on the chest with a wicked straight right. Ana was back in control and tormented the Nigerian champion until the end of the round. DING! And the first one was over.

- Both fighters stood defiantly in their corners, never taking their eyes off each other. Both wanted victory tonight and both would not let the other stand in her way. DING! And the second round began.

- This time it was Kamilah who started things off, with a rapid attack on Ana’s head. She powered the Filipina champion around the ring, targeting her chin and cheeks.

- But Ana Aquino came back with a belly attack that took the Nigerian champ’s breath away. Ana drilled in deep hoping to send her opponent to the mat by destroying her air flow.

- Kamilah was sent on the defensive as Ana moved in to attack her head. She caught her opponent flush on the face as the bell rang to end the 2nd round. DING!

- Both fighters fell onto their stools to rest during the break. Ana and Kamilah felt their energy drained by the match’s back-and-forth. But these two warriors wanted this victory. Each fighter built up her adrenaline and got ready for the third round.

- At the sound of the bell, both women flew out of their corners ready to give it their all and end the fight. They circled around each other and then Ana saw an opening and swung wide at her opponent. But Kamilah was too quick and ducked just in time!

- And the Nigerian champion retaliated with a powerful uppercut that caught Ana square in the tummy. Ana was winded!

- Kamilah capitalized on Ana’s confusion and followed up with a right hook that cracked across Ana’s jaw. The Filipina champion tried swinging wildly but could not find a target to land on.

- With all of her remaining strength, Kamilah lunged forward with a speeding left that cut straight into Ana’s face, snapping her head back violently. Ana Aquino crashed to the mat!

- Ana Aquino was knocked out cold on the mat as she was counted out. Kamilah stood above her, arms raised high, taking in the cheers of the crowd. It had been a hard won victory for her. “Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match, by third round knockout… Nigerian champion, Kamilah Kuti!!”

- Ana Aquino had given it her all and fought the fight of her life. But in the end, she had come up short. One fatal mistake sent her crashing to the canvas in defeat.

- Kamilah stood tall and proud in victory. However, she knew she was close to losing this match. She looked down with a stern look… but a look filled with respect. Ana Aquino was a worthy opponent but, tonight, she was second best. Despite her thrilling win, Kamilah did not want to stay in the ring. She was not happy to see her opponent suffer the penalty for losing, so she left the ring amidst the cheers of the crowd.

- Like the previous three losing contenders, Ana Aquino was stripped of her top for all to see. A champion had fallen and paid the price of defeat. Ana Aquino would not be proceeding to the semifinals.

- That evening, the women prepared for another evening of press interviews. Backstage, two semi-finalists met head-to-head: Kamilah Kuti and Clarisse Cloutier. Clarisse looked at Kamilah in a condescending manner.

- “Congratulations on your win, mon amie! Unfortunately, now, you must meet me. But tell me, did you enjoy ze humiliation of your opponent as much as me? Que c’est beau!”

- “Of course I did not enjoy that! Ana Aquino is a powerful and skilled fighter. She did not cheat but fought with the drive of a true warrior. She gave me a challenge that I only hope you can live up to.”

- Clarisse laughed a little and then walked away to attend her first interview. She left Kamilah with these words: “Haha! Zat’s too bad. But remember Aquino as she looked. Zat is how YOU shall look when I am finished with you. And I will enjoy YOUR humiliation just as much! Au revoir!” Kamilah and Clarisse would be meeting in the semi-finals.
