Several months after the historic international Foxy Boxing Tournament of Champions, Raquel Balboa finally debuted B.A.B.E.!
The earliest days of B.A.B.E. saw the return of many familiar faces from the defunct Foxy Boxing League along with new fighters, both domestic and international. Throughout the first season, many new fighters would be debuting as well.
But tonight, we present you with the very first televised B.A.B.E. match, which featured Nina Strong and Sonja Redding going head-to-head.
Who was the first victorious fighter of B.A.B.E.? And who was the first woman knocked out?

- The crowd was ecstatic that night! They were witnessing the start of a new foxy boxing league that was about to take the world by storm. And the B.A.B.E. league was about to start proper with it’s first boxing match. “Ladies and gentlemen… welcome to the debut of B.A.B.E., Beautiful Angels of Boxing Entertainment!” The crowd cheered loudly. “In our first B.A.B.E. match, first… fighting out of the blue corner, please welcome ‘The Next Big Thing’… Sonja Redding!!” The crowd welcomed the first fighter with loud applause and catcalls. Sonja Redding strutted around the ring, looking to give them a great show tonight and prove she was worth B.A.B.E. gold.

- “And her opponent tonight… from Baltimore, MD… please give a large welcome for Nina Strong!!” The crowd offered up equal parts cheers and equal parts boos. Nina had taken on a more aggressive personality toward the end of the old Foxy Boxing League. Now, she was in B.A.B.E. with the goal of becoming the greatest fighter around.

- DING! At the start of the round, both fighters flew into each other, circling like wildcats. Then, Nina Strong moved in for attack and caught Sonja with a forcefull uppercut to her jaw. Nina then proceeded to pound into Sonja with hits to her head and body.

- Nina Strong did not relent! She forced her way past Sonja’s defense and pummeled her belly with lefts and rights. Sonja was forced around the ring with Nina in control.

- But Sonja wasn’t out of the fight this early. She began to counter Nina’s attack with a strong counter that rocked her opponent in the face. Sonja then turned the tables on her, powdering her with lefts and rights up to the end of the round. DING!

- Sonja and Nina sat back in their corners, resting up for the next round. Sonja Redding looked eager to get back to the action. After the attack she endured from Nina, she was ready to dish back some pain. Nina, meanwhile, relaxed in her corner, happy with her performance. She wasn’t too worried about her opponent and planned to deal her an early knockout in the next round. DING! And the 2nd round began.

- Sonja jumped in and took advantage of Nina’s overconfidence. Before Strong could raise her defense, Sonja was on her quick with punishing blows to the belly.

- But Nina fought through the pain and struck back with a piercing right fist that nearly tore Sonja’s head off! Once again, Nina was in command, showing her opponent with fists.

- Soon, the tide of the fight turned back to Sonja’s side as the tough redhead absorbed the punishing blows and then fed Nina some of her own. She smashed into Nina Strong with wicked fists to the head and punched her mercilessly up until the sound of the bell. DING!

- Once more, the fighters took advantage of their rest between rounds. This time, both fighters were exhausted. There was no eagerness or cockiness in them left. They just wanted this fight to end. And soon, it would. DING!

- At the start of the round, Sonja Redding rushed in to meet Nina and welcomed her to the center of the ring with a deep right uppercut to the tummy. As the air was pushed out of Nina Strong, Sonja showed the crowd why she’d be the Next Big Thing at B.A.B.E.!

- The ladies brawled in the center of the ring, but Nina soon found herself tangled up with Sonja, who used her leverage to knock off several easy punches to her opponent’s jaw.

- After several mind-numbing blows to Nina Strong’s head, Sonja Redding backed up and let Nina stumble in place. Then, the fiery redhead unleashed on her opponent with an earth-shattering right punch that knocked Nina Strong backwards onto the canvas!

- Nina Strong crashed to her back as Sonja Redding stood tall and proud. And the count began! “1… 2… 3… 4… 5… “

- “6… 7… 8… 9… 10! DING! DING!” And it was over! Nina Strong was counted out… the first knockout of the new B.A.B.E. league!

- The crowd was on its feet as the winner was announced. “Ladies and gentlemen… please give a hand for the winner by knockout in the 3rd round and the first winner in a Beautiful Angels of Boxing Entertainment bout… ‘The Next Big Thing’ Sonja Redding!!” The redhead raised her arm high in victory and flexed a muscle for the cheering crowd. Sonja had just made history and had just made her mark in the B.A.B.E. league. She would soon be setting her sights on the vacant B.A.B.E. Championship Belt.
