- Soon, Raquel found herself to be a top contender with a reputation of powerful pounding.

- As Raquel found herself reaching #1 Contender status, the crowd found her to be a new heroine. “ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!’ are the chants that greeted her after every new victory.

- And at her side after every victory was her mentor, trainer, and friend: Liberty Lane. Once more, Liberty had found herself in the good graces of the crowd.

- Meanwhile, Foxy Boxing champion, Ivanna Payne, found herself tiring of weaker opponents. She needed a new challenge.

- After one more brutal victory, Payne stopped to address the crowd. “Who is this Rocky you keep cheering for? Someone else I need to destroy? Well, ‘Rocky’… too bad for you I’ve got you on my radar. Your career is almost over.”

- One afternoon, Raquel Balboa was going through her stretches after a hard work out, until the slamming of the gym door caught her attention.

- The expression on Liberty Lane’s face revealed who had entered the gym. Approaching them was the one woman Liberty Lane had actually learned to fear.

- Walking toward them was the woman who had destroyed Liberty Lane’s career, the woman who had taken the Foxy Boxing Championship Belt: Ivanna Payne.

- Raquel rose to face the champ. Ivanna sneered, “I remember you. You’re that blonde whose career I crushed. And now you’re training fighters? That takes guts. A loser training people. Ha!”

- “Okay… I wanna see how your little girl does against me. She’s been making a name for herself and I want to destroy that name.”

- Raquel looks the champ in the eye. “I want that belt. I want to take you down and show the crowd you ain’t all that. Let’s do this.”

- Ivanna responds, “Little girl, I’m gonna paralyze you. When I’m done with you, the crowd is gonna be crying for you.” Raquel tells her, “You and me… for the championship belt, in one month.” Both women stand face-to-face until Ivanna leaves, laughing to herself. “Make your will now.”

- Afterwards, Liberty Lane speaks with her protoge. “I don’t know, Rocky… You’re tough, but I know what this woman’s capable of.” Raquel responds, “I know… I’ve studied her. I know I can take her. Have faith and let’s get back to work.” Liberty smiles, “Let’s do this. I know you can take her!” Both women get back to work, preparing for the fight of Raquel’s life.
